Richard Rudd the creator of The Gene Keys illustrates it the content I wrote down below in such a differnet way, I had to share. Here it is: “Let’s take a little tour around your laboratory and have a look at some of the equipment nature has given you. Take a moment to look at the palm of your hand and observe your own skin. It’s made up of million of tiny skin cells. Let’s take a look at just one of those cells now.

The basic elements of a cell are threefold—there is an outer membrane, an inner mantle (cytoplasm) containing the working machinery of the cell, and a nucleus containing the cellular DNA and it’s instructions. You have about 60 trillion of these cells in your body, all with different roles and responsibilities. But most importantly, every single cell in your body right now is doing two essential things: It’s listening, and it’s responding.

Each cell is listening to your environment through its countless molecular antennae embedded in the cells membrane. This cellular skin interprets the environments signals and relays the corresponding instructions to the DNA within the nucleus of the cell. Your DNA then responds by activating the necessary machinery within the cell. It’s like the cell captain of a steamship relaying information from his look outs down to the engine room. The lookouts spot an obstacle, they alter the captain and he orders the workers in the engine room to either open or close the furnaces that drive the turbines or shifts the gears that engage the propeller. In your body it’s the same: the molecular switches in your cells tell the DNA which gene to switch on and which genes to switch off.”

Bio-active peptides found in Kambo have aroused a great deal of scientific interest. But so far, none of these molecules have been used in clinical practice. It is not to say that pharmaceutical companies have tried to produce the Kambo cocktail in their laboratories but have not been successful. Now it is up to us, above our rational and scientific culture, and accompanied and supported by it, to take advantage of this gift of nature and obtain all its benefits beyond what can be demonstrated by the multitude of pharmacological experiments carried out in scientific laboratories. The main families of bioactive peptides identified in Kambo secretion include:

Dermorphin and deltorphin – Composed of 7 amino acids have the potential to provide pain relief up to 40x more potent than morphine! They are selective agonists of the opiate delta receptors.

Phyllomedusin – Increases secretion of the entire gastrointestinal tracts, and is responsible for the deep purge produced by Kambo.

Phyllokinin and Phyllomedusins – Increases the permeability of the blood-brain barrier and reduces blood pressure.

Produces a long-lasting reduction in blood pressure. It helps widen the blood vessels and is responsible for the increased heart rate. They are potent vasodilators that increase the permeability of the blood-brain barrier both for their own access as well as for that of other active peptides. Within this family are the medusins, which also have antimicrobial and antifungal properties.

Caeruleins and Sauvagines – Improves digestion and has pain relief properties, and stimulates the pituitary gland and the adrenal cortex contributing to greater sensory perception and increased resistance and stamina.

These peptides with chains of 40 amino acids with myotropic properties on the smooth muscles, producing a contraction of the colon and urinary bladder. They produce a drop in blood pressure accompanied by tachycardia. They stimulate the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland, contributing to greater sensory perception and increased resistance. Both peptides possess a great analgesic power, contributing to the increase of physical strength, the capacity to confront physical pain, stress, disease and diminish symptoms of fatigue.

Adenoregulins (B2) – Antimicrobial peptides that exhibit lethal effects against a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, yeast, and protozoa. The effects these antimicrobial peptides are having on the human brain are opening treatments for depression, stroke, and cognitive loss diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.

Adenoregulins, discovered in the 90s by John Daly’s team at the National Institute of Health in the United States. Adenoregulin works on the human body through the adenosine receptors, a fundamental component throughout all human cellular fuel.

Dermaseptin – This neuropeptide is known for targeting bacteria, yeast, candida, and parasites.

Bradykinins – Produce vasodilation, increase vascular permeability.Such as phyllokinins and tryptophilins. They are peptides with structure and properties similar to human bradykinin. They are important sources of scientific study as they are hypotensive and due to producing vasodilation, contraction of the non-vascular smooth muscle increased vascular permeability, also related to the mechanism of inflammatory pain.

Tryptophyllins – These peptides with an average length of 13 amino acids possess an action on liver protein synthesis and body weight, in addition, Tryptophyllins (TPH-7 and TPH-13) show endocrine and behavioural effects.

Bombesins – Stimulate the secretion of hydrochloric acid by acting on the G cells of the stomach. They also increase pancreatic secretion, intestinal myoelectric activity, and smooth muscle contractility.

Ceruleans – Stimulate the gastric, bile, and pancreatic secretions, and certain smooth muscles. They can be used in the paralytic ileus and as a diagnostic medium in pancreatic dysfunction.

What I feel pharmaceutical laboratories fail to take into consideration and underestimate and do not take into account/measure is the spirit and wisdom of the environment where the giant waxy tree frog of the Amazon inhabitants.

SCIENCE & RESEARCH

What has been learned since is that the benefits of Kambo steam from the bioactive peptides and neuropeptides found in the Kambo secretion. Peptides are a fundamental part of nature, found in animals and humans alike. They are comprised of amino acids which are the build blocks of life – just like proteins are. Kambo introduces peptides into the body and literally introduces your body to the fountain of youth while waking up the body’s natural ability to heal itself on a cellular level.

So far, researchers have discovered dozen-plus peptides in Kambo, of which 16 are bio-active peptides are isolated. This means that each of these bioactive peptides has a direct connection to binding with receptor sites in the human brain. A receptor is like a lock that, when opened with the right key—the bioactive peptide—triggers specific chemical reactions in the body. There is even a peptide in Kambo that can provide pain relief up to 40x stronger than morphine!

The difference between a peptide from a protein is the number of amino acids that bond together. In short and how it works is the peptides are chemical signalers that serve as a bridge from the brain plasma membrane to the body and carry chemical messages to the body with specific instructions to do things.

When Kambo is administered to the body, the cell receptors freely open themselves up to the beneficial properties/peptides in Kambo. Since the peptides are just short chain amino acids, which are the building blocks of a protein, the cell receptors recognize these peptides as allies there to help and open up to the Kambo to allow it to come in and do its work. Kambo has the ability, unlike many other natural and pharmaceutical substances, to cross the blood-brain barrier and produce its effects also at the level of the brain. Unlike many substances that are filtered and eliminated by the body’s highly intelligent defense system. This unique ability enables it to reach much deeper into the body.

Peptides are essentially chemical signaling agents that use neurons to communicate with each other that serve as a bridge from the brain plasma membrane to the body and carry chemical instructions and messages to the body with specific instructions to do things. Kambo is a relatively brief experience, lasting between 20-30 minutes, from the moment the Kambo is applied until it’s wiped off. Initially, superficial burns are made on the skin to remove the top layers. This is done to expose the lymphatic tissues, as this is how Kambo travels through the body. The rehydrated frog secretion is then applied to these burns, also known as gates. Shortly after the medicine is applied, you may experience a hard pounding heart, a flushed face, a feeling of pressure in your head, and a sensation similar to a niacin flush.

Nausea usually follows, with purging expected in 8 out of 10 cases. Purging can take many forms, including vomiting, using the restroom, shaking, sweating, emotional releases, or heavy mucus production.

After about 20-30 minutes, you’ll begin to feel much better and, after a period of rest, will be safe to drive home. We’ll explain the full range of symptoms in more detail in person so you know exactly what to expect and any fear of the unknown is dispelled.

IS KAMBO LEGAL?

Yes, it’s legal in the U.S. and most other countries. As long as we continue to practice responsible Kambo facilitation, it will remain legal. This is another reason to seek out trained practitioners with in-person experience.

WHO SHOULDN’T TAKE KAMBO & ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS?    

The following is a list of contraindications:

IS KAMBO A PSYCHEDELIC? 

No. Kambo is not a psychedelic. It is considered an ‘ordeal medicine’ that works on the physical body and by doing so provides access to more profound healing on a mentalk, emotional, and spiritual level. 

HOW IS KAMBO SOURCED?

I source it from trusted sources born, raised, and living in the in Peru near Iquitos. Tribal Detox praticioners such as myself use ethically and humanely sourced Kambo from a known tribe that has an established relationship with the founders of Tribal Detox. The frogs may sometimes be stressed, but they are not harmed and are not held in captivity for ‘milking’. They are treated with respect and reverence by the tribe and are always released back into the jungle. The international Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) lists the Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog in their endangered species databases’s ‘Least Concerned’ category. These frogs are sacred and protected within the regions of our trusted sources. 

HOW MANY DOTS ARE APPLIED? 

If it’s your first session with me, I will apply a maximum of 1-5 dots, even if you’ve been perved before with another practitioner. Depending on your experience with that initial ceremony, we will adjust the dots and the amount of dots in future ceremonies. More Kambo dots does not equate to more healing. In fact more dots can create unnecessary stress within the system. 9 out of 10 times I take an gentler approach when serving Kambo. Each session and person is different, keeping in mind tolerance to discomfort in mind. 

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS FROM KAMBO?   

The short answer is no. The experience after receiving Kambo is entirely dependent upon the individual. Most report feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. One thing to consider is what is known as the Herxheimer reaction. This simply means that sometimes one will feel worse before feeling better as things move through your system.

DOES EVERYONE PURGE? 

Vomiting is believed to be controlled by two distinct brain centres–the vomiting centre and the chemoreceptor trigger zone. The vomiting centre initiates and controls the act of emesis, which involves a series of contractions of smooth muscles lining the digestive tract. There are server peptides in Kambo that stimulate the contraction of these smooth muscles. The chemoreceptor trigger zone is stimulated by many toxins and drugs. Activation of this brain region stimulates the vomiting centre, which initiates emesis in an effort to rid the body of the toxin. A good example of this is when you excessively ingest too much alcohol.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS FROM KAMBO?   

No. In fact, a purge isn’t necessary to receive all the benefits for Kambo.

WILL I BE ABLE TO DRIVE HOME AFTERWARDS? 

Yes, after adequate rest (20-45 minutes) you can drive home. It’s recommended to have some time for rest and integration after many, though many of my clients go to work the next morning. However, it’s recommended to allow time after a session with no scheduled obligations or commitments, at least for the rest of the day, to allow time for integration and rest. However Kambo might just give you the energy needed to do exactly what’s been needed.
